Radiobrás or "Empresa Brasileira de Comunicação" (Communication Brazilian Company in English) was created in 1975 to operate the government's radios and TV stations. Nowadays, after various changes on its structure, it is responsible for the whole brazilian government's communication, including a News Agency (Agência Brasil), two TV stations and 5 radio stations. Moreover, it distributes official advertising for 1.130 government branches.
